WE BELIEVE IN THE FELLOWSHIP OF BELIEVERS

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common.
-Acts 2:42-44

FAQs

What makes MUMC different?

The Church of the Warm Heart Family is a community of imperfect people who have been brought together by the grace of God to worship Him, to be reminded of his forgiveness and to find out what He wants us to do in this world. We are a multi-ethnic congregation of great richness and diversity. During our weekend services, uplifting music and challenging sermons prepare us to live out our faith in a needy world. Our church vision statement is:

Loving All • Changing Hearts • Transforming Lives

What are your weekend services like?

We aim to make our services relevant and a source of strength to help you live your life. You will be greeted at the front door and given directions to facilities. Feel free to sit where you want to. Likewise, dress as casually as you want. Our 9:30 service is a traditional service with hymns, organ, piano and liturgy. Our 11:15 service is contemporary with a praise band and a casual feel.

What about my children?

Children are welcome in the worship services. We have a special time for them as a part of the service and then children are dismissed for Sunday School. Our children’s ministry team works hard to provide classes that offer creative teaching and a great Bible story on their level. Our fully staffed nursery is a clean, safe and caring environment that is open during our services. Parents sign in your children near the front door; they will receive an identification sticker to wear. Wait till they see Noah’s ark! They’ll love it!

What do you have for middle and high school students?

Our youth ministry offers a program of get-togethers, retreats, music, service opportunities & mission trips, Bible study, and student-led worship.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?

No. If you are our guest, we won’t ask you to stand up or speak or give money. However we would love it if you would sign our attendance pad so we can send you a free gift and let you know all that is going on at MUMC. If you have questions, feel free to call the church office weekdays at (208)888-2245.

How do I get to your church?
