Kade has been our Worship Arts Director for more
than 3 years. He is not only an excellent director, but a professional
singer as well. His high school career consisted of singing at Carnegie Hall in New York and Northwestern A.C.D.A. Conference. As a senior he was Assistant Conductor. He took private conducting lessons over the summer and found yet another love, conducting. That summer he took private conducting lessons and found he loved conducting. He was able to perform and work with Charlene Archebeque of San Jose State University. Ms. Archebeque is one of the most praised choral conductors in America. Kade was inspired by her and would later work with her at Idaho State University. Kade began his college career at Boise State University where the nationally well known Dr. Giselle Wyers mentored him. He has been very fortunate to receive private conducting lessons from Wyers as well as classroom instruction. He conducted the BSU Chamber Choirs well as conduct them on the “Songs of Flight” C.D. He has also worked with Michael Boney and the Cathedral Choir at St. Michaels Cathedral. Kade was chosen to conduct at the American Choral Directors Association's undergraduate conducting workshop in Portland where he met and worked with many other conductors in the field. His choir members praise not only his talent to direct, but to teach; and most importantly, to inspire. |
