The Cathedral of the Rockies is bringing Habitat For Humanity to their campus this year on July 15, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until noon at their Amity Campus (4464 South Maple Grove Road, Boise). They will put together two homes in a matter of hours with a workforce of 500 volunteers.  It will be a great opportunity to join with our fellow Methodists as well as working for a good cause. Copy this link http://bit.ly/COTR_HBH2017  or go to www.cathedraloftherockies.org to register and please reply to Rob at Rob@meridianumc.com or 949-0005 so I know how many we are expecting. We will form a few teams and frame some walls and even write prayers on those walls for the people who will live in the home later. Please consider helping out with this great program!

God’s Masterpiece
~Herbert Farnham

God took the fragrance of a flower,
The majesty of a tree,
The gentleness of morning dew,
The calm of a quiet sea

The beauty of the twilight hour,
The soul of a starry night,
The laughter of a rippling brook,
The grace of a bird in flight

Then God fashioned from these things
A creation like no other,
And when his masterpiece was through
He called it simply – Mother.
